In addition to her position as Partner at PEV Healthcare Consulting, she serves as Scientific Professor of Epidemiology at UFRGS, at A.C.Camargo Cancer Center, at Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre, and at Insper in Brazil, and as Senior Researcher in Health Policy and Economics, having most of her consulting and research projects developed for Biotech and Biopharma companies. Ana has a Ph.D in industrial engineering at UFRGS, in collaboration with Stanford Medicine, and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Epidemiology at UFRGS in collaboration with the Brigham Women’s Hospital. She also attended the VBHC Seminary at Harvard Business School, and is certified in Effective Writing for Health Care by the Harvard Medical School (Class 2023).

During her career, Ana has penned more than 130 scientific publications, all focusing on the intricate fields of Health Economics, Value-based Care, and Value Creation. In 2024, she published her first Book, “The History Behind Science and The Science That Makes History In Healthcare Business.”
