The Synergist
Amanda is the Chief Partnership Officer at The Synergist, a global non-profit addressing complex societal challenges through multi-stakeholder collaborations. She is also the spokesperson, a senior leadership team member, and leads the ‘Global Patient Movement Catalyst’ initiative, focused on increasing DEI in clinical trials.
With a professional background in patient advocacy, Amanda was CEO of the European Haemophilia Consortium for 11 years. She served on the European Commission Expert Group on Rare Diseases, the European Patients’ Forum Ethics Committee, and is an EUPATI Fellow (cohort 1). Her work has earned recognition in the fields of hemophilia and rare bleeding disorders.
Amanda has expertise in patient advocacy, European affairs, and humanitarian aid. She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics (2001) and has co-authored several academic papers. Currently, Amanda is an ambassador for the European Intuitive Trainers Network (EUNITA), dedicated to supporting disadvantaged adults.
