Jennifer L. Bright, MPA

President, International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM)

Jennifer L. Bright, MPA (she/her) is President of the nonprofit International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM), an organization that works with patients and clinical experts worldwide to define and deploy standardized tools that measure outcomes that matter to patients. Formerly, she held executive roles at the Innovation and Value Initiative (IVI), a nonprofit research organization dedicated to advancing patient-centricity, transparency and equity in value assessment methods and practice.

Jennifer is also President of Momentum Health Strategies®, a consultancy through which she offers clients her over 30 years of expertise in health policy, patient engagement, business strategy, and organizational leadership. She speaks and writes widely on topics related to patient involvement in research and policy development. Her prior experience includes executive leadership of the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), policy director at Mental Health America, and policy and research roles within state government relations firms. She holds degrees in political science and public administration from Trinity University and The George Washington University, respectively.

Jennifer is Board Chair of Mental Health America and an editor for the American Journal of Accountable Care. She resides in Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, Timothy, and three children, where she enjoys competitive rowing and serving as a city elections officer.
